ABOUT ME

My name is Silke Agnethe Svanenklink Kähler. I am a highly motivated 3D Artist with a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Graphics Art from The Animation Workshop in Viborg and 5 years of experience in the industry.

​

I specialize in CG development for various use cases and platforms such as animation, VFX and games for mobile devices, headsets, PC, and IOS. My primary focus in my career has been on rigging, optimization, automating workflows and producing appealing 3D art.

 

With a strong background in classical drawing, 3D modeling, texturing, shading, lighting, rigging, and optimization, I possess the skills necessary to bring any project to life. I am deeply committed to delivering great work while collaborating effectively with team members to achieve project goals within specified timelines and budget constraints while having a blast doing so.

3D Artist Consultant at The LEGO Group

  • 3D Artist working for Virtual Asset Design at The LEGO Group. Working in Maya, Substance, Photoshop and Unreal on LEGO elements for use in game production.
     

2024 |

3D Artist Consultant at Aate VR

  • 3D Artist on VR simulation for exposure therapy and mental health. Working in Blender, Substance, Photoshop and Unity with environment pipeline, modelling, texturing, rigging, set dressing, lookdev, lighting, shading and optimization.

3D Artist Consultant at WiredFly / Kong Orange 

  • 3D Artist on stop-motion platformer game “Vokabulantis”. Working in Reality Capture, Zbrush, Substance, Photoshop, Blender, Maya and Unreal with main character and environment pipeline, primarily character rigging, modelling, texturing, lookdev, lighting and shading

3D Artist at Kanda

  • Worked with industry-standard software such as Blender, Unity, Substance, Houdini, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects and Premiere to create optimized 3D assets and animations for a wide range of real-time projects, including games, apps, and VR experiences
     

  • Operating within the framework of agile and scrum principles, I collaborated with art directors, product owners, and engineers. Through effective communication and iterative workflows, I consistently delivered high quality results within stringent timelines. Additionally, I actively contributed creative feedback and insights to enhance project outcomes along with attending customer meetings communicating about project goals and prioritization.
     

  • Provided comprehensive technical support and troubleshooting for both software and hardware issues. I also played a key role in mentoring and training junior artists and interns, fostering their professional growth
     

  • My curiosity and enthusiasm to improve production pipeline efficiency and quality led me to contribute to the development of innovative techniques and workflows. For example, I was able to reduce the amount of time spent on menial art tasks like project setup and lightbaking by setting up scripts and remote lightbaking servers for artists, meaning they were able to work much faster than prior and were able to focus on creative tasks.
