ABOUT ME

My name is Silke Agnethe Svanenklink Kähler. I am a highly motivated Computer Graphics Artist with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Graphics Art from The Animation Workshop: VIA University College in Viborg, Denmark (graduated January 2021).

Throughout my career, I have excelled as a CG Generalist at Kanda, specializing in VR and realtime CG development for various platforms such as mobile devices, headsets, PC, and IOS using Unity and Unreal. My primary focus has been on optimization, modeling and texturing for games and XR applications.

As a dedicated professional, my objective is to leverage my artistic abilities and technical expertise to produce visually stunning and optimized content for XR experiences, games, animation, and other media platforms.

With a strong background in 3D modeling, texturing, shading, lighting, rigging, and optimization, I possess the skills necessary to bring any project to life. I am deeply committed to delivering top-quality work while collaborating effectively with team members to achieve project goals within specified timelines and budget constraints.

I am now seeking new opportunities as a CG Generalist, CG Artist or Technical Artist where I can apply my talents and contribute to the creation of immersive and captivating experiences. I am eager to take on new challenges and explore innovative techniques in the ever-evolving field of computer graphics.

2024 - Current |

3D Artist at WiredFly and Kong Orange 

  • 3D Artist on stop-motion platformer game “Vokabulantis”.  Working in Reality Capture, Zbrush, Substance, Photoshop, Blender, Maya and Unreal with character and environment pipeline, rigging, modelling, texturing, set dressing, lookdev, lighting and shading.
     

2020 - 2023 |

3D Artist at Kanda

  • Worked with industry-standard software such as Blender, Unity, Substance, Houdini, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects and Premiere to create optimized 3D assets and animations for a wide range of real-time projects, including games, apps, and VR experiences
     

  • Operating within the framework of agile and scrum principles, I collaborated with art directors, product owners, and engineers. Through effective communication and iterative workflows, I consistently delivered high quality results within stringent timelines. Additionally, I actively contributed creative feedback and insights to enhance project outcomes along with attending customer meetings communicating about project goals and prioritization.
     

  • Provided comprehensive technical support and troubleshooting for both software and hardware issues. I also played a key role in mentoring and training junior artists and interns, fostering their professional growth
     

  • My curiosity and enthusiasm to improve production pipeline efficiency and quality led me to contribute to the development of innovative techniques and workflows. For example, I was able to reduce the amount of time spent on menial art tasks like project setup and lightbaking by setting up scripts and remote lightbaking servers for artists, meaning they were able to work much faster than prior and were able to focus on creative tasks.
